New album out! ACOUSPACE PLUS

Tid (Time) is both the title and the focus of the debut album from Acouspace Plus. It is an improvisational musical exploration, captured in a single day, that mixes electronic and acoustic music in a multidimensional recording that stretches time, and creates a sound universe that is provocative yet light and airy.

The absence of chordal instruments on the album enhances this lightness, and gives the music an almost dreamy quality.

Without drums there is a certain rhythmic that clearly intensifies improvisational sequences. Even though the classic, timekeeping element of percussion has been removed from the equation, there is a great deal of "time" on every track – a little bent, perhaps, but just as real as any other sense of time.

The tonal foundation of the record is influenced by Spejderrobot's electronic melancholy – a universe that, like the real one, is full of dark matter whose existence we acknowledge, even if we can't see it or understand it.

In this eternal universe, Jesper Bodilsen's clear, distinct and beautiful bass sound continues to search without fumbling. He is flanked by the two saxophonists, Claus Waidtløw and Joakim Milder, whose lively interplay is a tribute to the eternally curious nature of man.

The mixture of old and new on the record makes for a journey through time. Not in the traditional sense, but a journey through a sense of time that is unique unto itself.
